For over a week or so now, we’ve been testing Ellipsis in a closed beta program. With the help of testers we’ve been able to fix bugs, add much needed features we left out and also improve our designs and graphics. Due to the excellent response from the testers we’re confident we will be able to release Ellipsis to everyone Friday December 4th 2009.
Some time in the evening (UK Time) we will go live with what has been one of the most interesting projects we’ve worked on. So we hope you will join us then and enjoy what we’ve created. Before then you can look forward to a preview video by ActionCorp.TV, the guys who did the podcast preview for MC360, we’ll let you know when thats available. Just keep an eye on this site.
Father Kills Son over Video Game

A 40-year old Ofelio Antonio Otero surrendered to Houston Police on Sunday for allegedly shooting his 17-year old son. Otero was said to have been drinking heavily when the argument started.
Otero was arguing with his wife about a missing video game when his son Ignacio stepped in. Otero was repeatedly loading his gun and Ignacio tried to knock the gun away from his father, and even managed to run away from him, but the bullet still got him in the neck.
Otero left the scene, leaving his son to die. After 3 hours he went back to the Houston Police Department after a brief standoff and surrendered.
Personally, I don’t believe it was the video game that made this man kill his son, but the fact that he was drunk.

Is Soft modding on the Wii Going to Die? Some Thank so!
OK so with the New Update 3.5 Out (Korea only right now) they block the TW hack =( sad i know But it was going to happen some day BUT thats not the Worse thing to happen as That could have Some how gotten Bypassed maybe =)
To really Kill off Soft modding on the Wii Is the New system wii’s have a Block on the boot1.
Some Users on the Net Think that No modified boot2 will not run on the New Wii’s BUT i think that’s a lot of Bull =P or at best i am hoping they are wrong.
everyone is saying that there will be No fix or way around it.
Right Now there is only about 10-15% of the Wii’s Out there that Are new and with the New Boot1 So you can still Buy a New Wii and hack it with a Softmod Unless your Very Unlucky and get one of them Wii’s =/

it’s confirmed that this over exalted batter will leave 3K at least like the 88v3, just with a flashing light, a black screen and nothing but that LED indicator, as we announced.
Therefore, that (strange blue colored) battery won’t work for you, instead “someone” makes a bypass for the preIPL thing that Dark_AleX explained. (Considering that the preIPL on the 3K has the same security) Looks like Datel was hoping that Dark_AleX hacked it, so only their battery could be available for the hacking process. Bad luck, guys.

- Well, I’ll be damned… As complaints about the PSP-3000 screen’s interlacing issues pile up at the PlayStation forums, all Sony had to say was that they were “looking into it.”While everyone’s waiting for a response from Sony U.S., the folks at Engadget have gotten word from Sony Computer Entertainment Japan. The SCEJ representative that contacted them, in Engadget’s words, noted that:
the interlacing-like lines are just “features” of the new LCD, and currently, there are no plans to fix it with a future software update since it is in the hardware.
- They’re… what? Features? Not a very keen feature, if that’s the case. Nevertheless, a serious question is now posed: are you willing to put up with scanlines on your screen for Pandora glory care of DAX and the TA-090? Buying a PSP-3000 now requires serious thinking, it seems.

Custom Firmware 5.00 M33 Released
October 18th, 2008After a short while, the world renown Dark_Alex was able to create a firmware dumper for the new 5.00 firmware. Now, after only 2 days, He has released 5.00 M33! This is a true must-download, so here is the changelog and download details.
5.00 M33 changes:
- 4.01 to 5.00
- Bug fix: when changing speed in xmb, and the psp turned the brightness to 0 automatically the speed was reset to 222 again.
- Note to pspstates plugin users: this plugin won’t work in thisFirmware due to it being made specifically for 4.01. Running it in 5.00 M33 can cause problems, wait until an update of plugin.
