soldering iron PLEASE RESPOND

I am about to splice up my xbox controler and an old webcam usb cord following this tutorial

however i do not have a soldering iron... can i do it without one?

Yes you Can but you'll need alot of Tape =)

OK i did it and my computer is recognizing it and i installed the action replay software and directed it to the driver location but it does not find the driver!  What do i need to do.  My memory card is black and on the back says xbox memory unit and am assuming it is made by xbox.

it's the same thing as whats going on with your Game pad the Memcard ir reading as a Masstorge device

you just need to set the USB  to the  AR's  .inf  then install the drivers

thanks.... i got it all to work, i think.  Turns out my version of mechassault is not the right one.  Damn lieing EB employees.  Anyways, all i did was put the .zip file into it.  Is this correct?  I unzipped the whole thing and went to C:\Documents and Settings\Sean\Desktop\Torrents\Completed Files\XBOX Krayzie Ndure SOFTMOD Pack\Krayzie Ndure Pack\MA\MA save and there was a folder and a .zip archive and Action Replay software would allow me to drag and drop the zip file.....


I guess im going to have to go hunting for the right version of mechassault.
