SO I have an xbox, unmodded. I don't know what version it is, but I have a action Replay and Splinter Cell Platinum Hits. Do I need to go out and get a normal one.
Ok, I downloaded the first thing on the downoad list called Krayzie 007 UXE installer v2.8. Do I need to download any other files, or is that the only one that I need.
I would also like to know how to put in a bigger hard drive, but all of the links here and on xboxscene i don't understand at all. I know that I must sound like an absolute n00b, but I would really like to now because I have seen what those xbox's can do and they are awesome
Can somebody please help me OUT???

For the most part I dont think the Platinum version work ,I use Mech assault. 007 uxe installer v2.8 is for the 007 Agent under fire http://www.smdepot.net/forum/index.php?topic=554.0 this was easy you just have to softmod first so you have the eeprom default C folder,A couple of programs (it tells what is needed in tutorial) |

how do I transfer files from the xbox to the pc? I know that I have read it, but I still don't fully understand. Sorry if this is a total noob question.

I used the orginal Splinter cell, i have the platnium, never tried it though which i should just to see, i would suggest to go to xbins get splinter cell files and us AR to transfer to mem card, if u need the orginal SC game, its only 3 bucks, at any video gamer store,

ok, I have a AR and a copy of 007 Agent Under Fire. WHat file do I need to download. On the screen their is a Krayzie UXE installer and then is says something like reformatted to fit on AR. Do I use that one? Also, can I download all the necessary files from xbins? I just learned how to hook up to that, what files should I use. I am also going to upgrade to what I think is a 200 GB hard drive. IS there any guide that is not to hard to follow?(it is probably like 1st grade for u guys, but I'm new at this) Thanks for all your help

EVOX and UnleashX are not programs just Dashboards
and no you can't use a EVOX skin on a UnleashX dash

it's All in the User really
alot of ppl like EVOX
and Same for UnleashX
there are pros and cons to both
But lucky for us we can load the Dashboards as Apps and even switch out a Dash for a New one
But for Now i would go with UnleashX as it has What you need and is a lillte easyer on the eyes

Just one last question, I have a router and two ethernet cords, is that all I need to do FTP? Or do I need anything else?
How exactly do you set it up?

Yes a router and two ethernet cords will work just fine
you can do it 2 ways set up DHCP or Static
with DHCP it will auto get a ip witch you connect to with a FTP program or god forbid IE =)
with router/Static IP you have to set a ip your self and set the gatway and DNS
you can check your gatway and DNS in your Router Info by typeing 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
them two are the Most command used for routers
NetGear - 192.168.0.1
linksys - 192.168.1.1
O and for fun 192.168.100.1 <---modem =)
