Dashbord Please Help

Ok i downloaded a halo2 skin welll d ashbord backround but i dont know how to install it this are the instructions but i dont understand it it is not clear "Halo2 Dash" by MastereX


===Installation Instructions===


1. If you don't have the green version patch Your Dash with Green.xbp using HeXbe

2. Insert xbox4.xbx into mainmenu5.xip

3. Insert xboxbg.xbx into default.xip

4. Extract default.xap from default.xip and open it with something like notepad

5. Search for "DEF theBackground Background"

- Now make it look like this:

   DEF theBackground Background
{
     skycolor 0 0 0
     backdrop ImageTexture { url "xboxbg.xbx" }
}

6. Reinsert default.xap back into default.xip

7. Resign and your all done.

And the other 1 i downloaded it does not have instruction i wanna now how to change it can some1 help me thanx in ahead

That My friend is a THClite skin or a MSdash skin

and Not the easyies of things to do =)

o0o ok but where could i download the skins for the unleashX MS Dashbord cuz i got then from allxboxskins.com so can you tell me a website where to get them from and to install i just replace the original one on E:Dashbord i just replace that 1 right but where do i get them

They are the 2 best places to get skins. If you have UnleashX then download the skins and FTP it to E:\Dashboard\Skins and then change the settings in UnleashX to look for skins in that directory.

1 thing your doing Wrong your calling it the Wrong Name

it's not unleashX MS Dashbord

it's Just unleash X

ok But how do i make the settings to go to skins in UnleashX and allso every time that i try to Live update  the dashbord when it get to 100% it says error can contact server idn

NO server updates any more they Gone Down along time ago

only way to update is down load a up-to-date version and ftp it over


but really No point in it

yea but they said that when u update it gives you the music  player in the dashbord and where do i get the update
