HD died, trying to make a new one but....

my stock xbox hd decided to take a walk on me error 07, the hd is no good at all, can not use, an i never got around to modding it and gettin the epprom bin off it, so, my question iswhat can i do.  can i make a new hd without no epprom bin file, i heard there are a few ways but dont know what they are, an i would like to try an get by without using a chip,
I have another xbox that is soft modded , not sure if i can use anything from that.if some one can enlighten me that be great. thanks a lot

is it possible to use anything like config magic, eeprom magic, eeprom dumper, eepromer, sumtin like that???

I'd chip it, it's more simple.

07 means your harddrive just gave up, I don't think anything you do will get it back to life without major hardware work and lots of time.

grab another harddrive slap it in there and chip it with a cheap DUO X chip for like $15.
thats about the best way to go about this xbox.
I'm a softmod guy myself, but without a eeprom it's dead.
once you get the new harddrive and chip it you can always get your eeprom and take off the chip rebuild your xbox harddrive with xboxhdm and then softmod it, ..... that's if you are a die hard softmod fanatic.

new hdd and chip best combo for this case.

i have the same problem but i dont want to buy a chip  can any one show me how to do it without a chip any way any possible way
