hey everyone, i recently purchased one of those nifty optical mice and its got like 2 shoulder buttons and a nice scroll thingy as well. before i had a normal ball mouse which also had a scroll (both Logitecs). the thing is with my old mouse, if i was in a Firefow borwser window, or even IE 7.0, when i clicked on a hyperlink with my scroll button, it would open the link in a new tab. funny thing is that when i got the new mouse, and when i clicked the scroll, it would open in a new tab, but i try now, and its not doing that. so if anyone would be so kind as to advise what the problem(s) may be and how to fix them, i would appreciate it greatly. thanks.

Sounds like a operating sys problem. Did you install new software with your mouse?

See if it will work without it and if not then look for some other drivers, if all else fails then just re-install it.
