I have been using IRC for a long time ... but when I was hangin out in the #softmod channel jebus told me to join #softmods.

Then that was how it all started, thank you jebus.

about 2 days after SMD opened "softmods" I ran into it and joined up after he helped me "take my broken xbox back to walmart" ha

I talked to him for a bit and he made me a op and a site moderator for helping out so much
I never ever asked to be a op or a site moderator
just worked at helping people and upholding the room rules and keeping it respectful and clean

I have been very lucky to work with a great group of guys that all have the same goals for the site and help room
thanks ops mods and guest for making this a fun modding place

BOOST

oh yeah
the "yeah we can do that" has been my catchphrase from the birth of SMDBOOST
and we can still do that Smiley

i found SMD site like 4 or 5 days after he made the site I was on Xbins and was thing Hmm i should
make my Own Mirc channle that really Helps ppl so i picked the Name Softmods

 ....But SMD beat me
to the name =) well i hanged out there for like 3 days talking to them and

SMD come out and gave
me OP  at that time i did not have a job so i was around alot helping a Crapload of ppl But time
change and with Me haveing a 16hour shift i can't help Much but i do what i can

had a friend who had a softmodded xbox. then i searched google for haalf an hour. this was the first and best place that came up.

i joined and BAM!
20 minutes later i saw play bf2 on my xbox

A few months i seen the xbox-linux project (not shure how) and i was looking around the site until i saw softmod method. I left for a wile and forgot the name of the site so i googled softmod and this came up! i love this place!

well i was looking for a mod chip on google and then smdepot came out i saved the link and i made an acount and i keep reading till got to the point where it said mod your xbox with out a mod chip

I just found out about softmodding and looked it up on en.wikipedia.com and your guys website was on the bottom(the referral websites and recommeneded sections) so i decided to take alook at it and thats how i found this site.
