i have no reason to use linux. windows works great now, and linux has limited compatibility with hardware, and especially with software.

I have used linux before and just didn't like having to run everything from the command, it gets annoying after a while. If your smart about it, you can use windows with very little to no problems.

I know, thats Insane. Personally, I'm pissed that microsoft abandonded Internet explorer for 5 years and didn't come out with IE7 until firefox started chipping away at the market. Just think, they didn't come out with mista until Mac OS X started comming out and chipping away at the market. It just all pisses me off, microsoft cares nothing about its custmers, they just want to make money. You know what there philosiphy is, Why bother with improving our products when we have a monopoly?
I will never trust microsoft as long as I live, and that's also why I'm looking for a good linux that can run on m computer.

My computer has:
Windows XP Media Center Edition Windows XP Media Center Edition (Backup) Windows Vista Ultimate Edition (RC1) Freespire Linux
Overall, I think Windows is the best, but I like having multiple operating systems.
Sadly, because my computer is a Dell, Dell preinstalled a bunch of s**t that slows it down a LOT
It slows it down so much, that MY VISTA RUNS FASTER THAN XP
Dont get a dell

there is a tool that removes all of the crap dell preinstalls on your computer, its very useful... I'll probably get a dell because with the stuff I want its the cheapest, and I have the tool to remove all of the dell crap.

haha if you have the time, a custom computer is the best way to go, its the cheapest way but you gotta spend a few hours building and installing stuff
