how to unlock a FUJITSU MHT2040AT (40,0 GB) hdd from a creative mp3 player

 good afternoon guys,i have an unusual task that i need to be executed,it revolves around a 40 gig hdd that i got out of a creative mp3 player,i want to unlock it and use it in my laptop,the only way i think it can be unlock is by hotswapping with my xbox and pc with the use of a 3.5" ide to 2.5" adpater" that i ordered,any ideas and thoughts would be great ^_^
