I am thinking of getting a xbox 360. But have a quick question
Lets say i buy the arcade one which is 199.99, and then i buy a hard drive for it.
Does the hard drive go inside the xbox? or is it usb hard drive?
if i decide to buy one with a hard drive. is the hard drive usb? or its in the xbox?

It connects to a port like modified USB. It's custom, let's just say that Tongue

thanks guys
is it like ps3 though? where it needs to install the games? on the hard drive first then run them? or its straight of the disc?
and it would make more sense, to buy the arcade 360 which costs $199.99
get it modded
buy hard drive, and it would be a little less than buying the $299.99 version

you can play games without a HDD and what i did was i called Microsoft and said my 120 gb hard drive broke and then in 2 weeks they sent me a new one when i had bought the arcade version. Then again i had a dumbass working the technical support and was able to chat with him until he liked me enough to say they'll send a new one.

All in all, it was a good day. Especially considering I didn't even have to use my AK.

new new dashboard NEEDS the harddrive to have the update, also downloadable contect (DLC) such as map packs, music track, and expansion packs all go on the harddrive.
one of my favorites is burnout paradise, but with the harddrive you also get to race motorcycles!! a free downloadable upgrade! I have a 120 gig on my xbox and am down to 80 gigs left. but I have a ton of rockband tracks and jsut about every free DLC out there.
you can download Demos, and some xbox 1 games as well.
but with a memory card you can really just save prfiles on it.....
