He he I know right =D. But if only my computer had the capabilities to play full 1080p HD video lol most I can push out of my PC is 720P and that's with pretty much no lag. but with 1080P the vid lags and freezes as well as the audio too =[ I wanna build this really BAMF PC but it's gonna cost like a little over $500 but i gots no money he he but when I get my end of the semester grade I should be raking in like $250-$300

they have bluray decoder cards (PCI i believe) at can haedware decode bluray, so its a good thing to have to jack up the video quality, you can get it running 1080p no prob (even without bluray )

REALLY!?!?! where could I find such a beautiful product? Newegg.com maybe? or perhaps Tigerdirrect.com? you sure it's PCI? because I hope it isn't PCI-Ex because I only have AGP =[ The funny thing is though iis that I have Iron Man on my pc in 720P Blueray and my pc reads it just fine =] but the thing is, It was in WMV Formatt. does that mean it's still blueray or just HD? they have bluray decoder cards (PCI i believe) at can haedware decode bluray, so its a good thing to have to jack up the video quality, you can get it running 1080p no prob (even without bluray )

its a compressed blur-ray movie, its like comparing a dvd-rip to a dvd original. so the bit rate isnt as high, so lower end players(pc's, etc.) can play it. same for full hd, they both run at teh same res but a .mkv version will be running way less bitrate so a midrange pc can play it better. also hd media players are starting to link up with nvidia ant ati cards to handle full hd so you dont have to go out there and buy that nice core2quad.

He he sweet but since I'm running Vista I'm going to have to upgrade my ram at least. Now that I'm goint to be using 3D modeling programs I want at least 3G of ram. cause 1 doesn't really cut it for normal use. It's just too slow. then again I may need a new mobo too one with PCI-EX so I can further upgrade my video card.I'm basically maxed out. only two other video cards I can get I believe. I think the Nvidia 7600 and 7800 I believe. its a compressed blur-ray movie, its like comparing a dvd-rip to a dvd original. so the bit rate isnt as high, so lower end players(pc's, etc.) can play it. same for full hd, they both run at teh same res but a .mkv version will be running way less bitrate so a midrange pc can play it better. also hd media players are starting to link up with nvidia ant ati cards to handle full hd so you dont have to go out there and buy that nice core2quad.
