hey everyone,
a few days ago my grand dad asked if there was a device which he could use to transfer his cassette tapes to CD. now i know how to do such a task using a computer, but he says that he doesn't even know how to power on a comp, let alone run software from it. plus, he doesn't actually own a computer. so i was wondering if there is a standalone device that can perform this task for him. so that he just has to insert his tape and CD and the machine takes care of the rest. anything like that on the market? eBay? for cheap? any advice would be mist appreciated, thanks.

i would say there is, there has got to be
but the expense may out weigh the value (aka most likely 300$ or more)

here is what ya do....
get a tape player
play tape
record tape though the head phone out of the tape player to the mic in on a pc

takes FOREVER and you have to listen to every song

do gramps a favor and do it for him, he might even pay you!

All in all, it was a good day. Especially considering I didn't even have to use my AK.
