xbox vs pc

so im wondering can i play halo on a pc and an xbox and play against the person on the xbox or pc from one or the other?

nope, maybe with the xbox emulator for pc, but i dont think it will work because of mac address differences.

if i were you id find a copy of halo for the pc or theres a keyboard mouse adapter for the xbox that works decent.

3 Xeon might be able to do it (considering its sole purpose is Halo emulation) but i dont know
Cxbx is the emu i have always used and i never tried the network options, so you can try those 2 emus (please google them, i dont feel like grabbing links, if anyone else wants to, thank you)

havent been on these parts of the forums for a while but here is my answer to the mac addresses, the xbox has a desinated range of mac's so if another system doesnt fall within that range, it will not pick it up as a xbox and will not be seen via system link. just to see what im talking about go to alternative networking settings on a 360 and put a xbox mac in and open up kai and kai will think its a xbox1
