Ok, I had a buddy mod a couple Xbox's for me and when I tested them 1 of them works perfect and the other one loads to the Dashboard (EvoX) but it looks like a scramble illegal TV channel. Please help me!!

I remeber comeing across this befor along time ago But don't remeber Why it happen I think it had somethen to do with SID installer
...Did you use SID??
if so Uninstall SID as it's a very Very bad softmod
i some what remeber that the user did not update his dash to the Newiest 5960 dash as well..
So what i would say is get Krayzie Ndure v1.1 Make sure the MS dash is on 5960 then install Krayzie Ndure to softmod.

Also, I can't FTP top it because the screen is so blurry that I can't see the IP address, I don't have the game disc or the game save that he used. Is there a way to find the IP without having to look at the Dash.

If its modded you could burn a disk and the xbox will run the burnt disk... couldn't he use Zzk2001 AIO Disk, maybe? http://www.smdepot.net/forum/index.php?topic=1266.0

You can look at your router for the IP if you have it set to DCHP (defualt) then your router will assign it an IP and you can track connected devices IP's in the router maintanince page (all routers are different, youll have to find yours) and you should be able to determine the xbox IP that way
also try 192.168.0.2 or 192.168.0.102
one of those may work if you have only the one computer on the network in any case, try looking at the router to fiind it

1.What dashboard are you using? 2.Is your dashboard located in the E:/Dashboard? If yes to the second question then try "UnleashX" as a new dash, see if that helps any

I was using Evolution X and then I found a Tut and changed the dash to Unleash X but with the same results. My dash is located in E:/Dashboards.

I'm the one who modded these Xboxes. Nothing out of the ordinary was done. Simple AUF 007 mod.
Here at my house it worked great with the RCA cables. At his house he's using a component cable and it is glitching out after the xbox splash screens. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I've never heard of this problem. It seems only to happen with the component cable.

the funny thing is this sounds like when you try to run a Pal game on a NSTC TV so i am thinking it's the TV's problem not the xbox.
