How sencetiv are the controllerport?

I have solder two additional usb ports to the controllers ports.

the blue stands for white
didnt include the yellow wire Wink

I have measured several times and it should not be any problem but when I plug in my memory-stick it only "flashes" gren (it is sopoused to be solid green when it is plugged in) doset matter if i choose USb 1/2.
But when i plugged it directly into the port its works fine Wink

what could the problem be?

I've had the same problem with different USB drives, using a controller port to USB adapter. It could be as simple as it's incompatible. Check this list out to see some known working and nonworking devices.

Edit:: I was using Kingston DataTraveler 2GB, 4GB and 512MB drives, and none worked. I also tried a 128MB Medion jumpdrive, and it also just flashed.

instead of hacking the port itself, i did this with an xpad and the memslot theres tuts around.
In short, its the same thing, cept you just hack the mem slot in the xpad since it still usses usb. i used a standard 2 gb flash drive that i got from school (for free  Wink)

All in all, it was a good day. Especially considering I didn't even have to use my AK.

i'm not 100% sure what the problem is or question your asking BUT you can't use USB and Game Pad at the same time.
