Problem with wrt54g router

I have a problem, i recently softmodded my xbox with Krayzie's ndure 1.1 installer and am currently using unleashx. I wish to connect to the internet via my wireless linksys wrt4g router. When I connect my xbox to the router and configure the http settings to the ip address of the router, I cannot connect. When I try to load an xbox skins page I am greeted with error 10060. Any help would be appreciated.

Unleash X settings
Type: DCHP
IP address: 192.168.0.100
Subnet mask: 225.225.225.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
DNS1: 192.168.88.1
DNS2: 68.87.72.130

HTTP settings
Enable Proxy: Yes
Proxy: router ip
Port: 1080

Router Data:
IP: router ip
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway:192.168.1.1
DNS1: 192.168.88.1
DNS2: 68.87.72.130

Note: Router IP not the same as Xbox IP

you're routers ip is 192.168.1.1  so you're xbox ip should be 192.168.1.100 or 105, 106 etc etc

If the router is set as a DHCP then you need to set unleashX as a DHCP in the settings then it will auto get the ip for you

Make sure to reset the xbox after setting up the ip settings

thanks for the advice, but the problem persists I feel like I've tried every possible combination of IP, Subnet, DNS etc and I cannot connect, no matter what I encounter error 10060, which I believe means that a ping was recieved but not relayed back from the server. I dont know if this matters or not but I'm also running a wpa-psk wireless connection to my laptop as well.

weird thing happened yesterday, all of the sudden I recieved an xbox scene rss feed streaming across the dashboard, however when I went to go access online skins or update the dash I received error 10060 again, any ideas?

Thanks, I finally figured out what the problem was. It turns out that I had remote proxy at port 8080 disabled on my router. As it stands now my current dashboard is the latest build of xbmc with classic skin!
