so you have an 80 gig hd in your xbox now? if thats the case you have to unlock it hook it into your comp as master and spend days transfering games to the drive (with no progress bar might add)

you could dump that 80 gig drive to your computer in about 4 hours i believe or just start the transfer and go to work or bed, that would do it via FTP i dont know a time range on a direct conection through the IDE i know it is not faster that is for sure

sorry bout the double post

oh yeah i see it now, "Modify" good to know

and regarding my last post

that would do it via FTP i dont know a time range on a direct conection through the IDE i know it is not faster that is for sure

i was saying ide was faster that ftp, but i reread it and got confused myself

but on this subject, is xplorer360 really the best thing out there? thats the only one that i have got to work but it seems like it could use some more development

easiest way is too do a long ftp, that way you dont mess anything up
just copy all the files to you computer and wake up the next mrning and unplug it cause the backup should be complete
this takes a long time but it is easyier and there is no thought required...
