Transfering

The other day, I was transfering files from one xbox to another, using a cross over cable, and the program I was using was Dvd2xbox to transfer files. Transfer speeds were extremly slow. It took about 5 hours to transfer 700 megs of super nintendo games from one xbox to another, and it took about 15 to 20 mins to transfer a 300 megabite game over.

Is there a way to speed things up, when transfering from one xbox to another?

I also tried using XBMC to transfer but it didnt pick up the connection, do I need the same version of XBMC to transfer? If not, how do I transfer using XBMC?

I get the fastest speeds out of UnleashX. I would recommend that you and your friend both use the most recent version of UnleashX to assure that you will recieve the fastest speed possible.

Wow your in luck this really cool guy made this tut just for xbox to xbox FTP using Unleashx, it is the best dash to use for that kind of stuff lol hope it help ooo and remember to check one off on that poll

make sure both xbox's network cards are set to 100mbps full duplex as well to get the fastes speeds. not one at 10, and one at 100 or something like that.
