I realize I'm no noob to modding, but I have a bit of a problem (We all do from time to time) and here it is.
1. I modded a new xbox v1.6a with a Samsung Drive
2. I used the installer Krayzie Ndure using the Splinter Cell exploit
3. Tried going onto xbox live
4. Wouldn't work
5. So I deleted the installer form the HDD and also renamed the dashboard folder in the E: Drive to dashboard2(big mistake!)
6. I get error 21 and none of the boot discs I have will work.
7. I can still play games.
Plz help, if you need more info, i'll gladly give it!
Krazyie's Ndure comes with a Dualboot. The Dualboot allows you to turn off n on the softmod so you can play on live.
Zzk100...I will take it from here
..But that my Error 16 is still a h0e!
what you need to do is
*Put in Splinter Cell again
*Go to the save game and enter the softmod.
*Now that you are in the softmod, FTP to your pc. Then you can rename your Dashboard folder back to E Drive:P
*Or, unistall the softmod n reinstall your softmod
I just pray, by the time you try this, the XbôX doesn't give you an error 16
After solving problem, to get on to Xbox Live
*Boot through SplinterCell again
*Go to the save and enter the softmod screen
*Go to the third option which is Extras.
*Install Dualboot via two ways: 1 way is through xbe which you have to edit some xbe yourself 8-/
But I suggest you try the installation, that installs the dualboot via tray open. This means, when you boot your XbôX with the tray open, you will get to this screen without going through Splinter Cell.
*When you have installed Dualboot. Restart XbôX and go to File Explorer→E Drive→Dashboard. From there see if you have a folder called Tray something...can't remember. If you do then you have installed the Dualboot.
Now turn off your XbôX. Turn it on by pressing the Open Tray and leaving the Tray on. When the XbôX finish booting, it will go on Dualboot screen (same has going through Splinter Cell.)
*Go to the first option: Turn off the softmod, so you can play on live, Turn on the softmod to access your softmod files.
*If you turn off your softmod, you won't be able to access the Dualboot by using the Tray, because the XbôX thinks your softmod has been unistalled. To get your softmod, you will have to boot through Splinter Cell again.
