What are you using to lock it? No matter what you using turning off the computer and waiting a couple of minutes should fix it. What that is is the security count has been exceded (im pretty sure, correct me if im wrong) so just wait a little while.

well i have come across this Many times befor And the One thing that i have done to fix this Is Burn a New Type of CD

Say you used Maxell and it did not work So i'll burn a Sony and Bam! it works

Not saying thats What the error Is or if that will even fix it But thats Just how i fix it

For a Side note Sony CD's Work the Best

I think that the problem was my computer bios, because I couldn't find a setting that disabled the automatic detection of the HD. I used my brother's old computer and disabled the auto detection, and baam! I was able to  lock the HD. Now I have a 250gb HD. This site is really helpful. Thanks guys Smiley
