ok i am trying to mod my xbox i have followed the directions step by step but i have a problem with the AR software when i plug my flash drive in to the computer and start the program it popped up "usb failed to enumerate" i need help

no i'm not offended but no i am not using a action replay usb device i am using a lexar flash drive.
Is there any way besides trying to find a memory card and hacking up another controller to do this?
