Just curious how to use the F: drive on a new HDD in the xbox. Are there any special things I need to set up? Is it possible to have the xbox disregard the E:drive and just use the F:drive? So that things like disk-rips will auto-matically be placed in the F:drive. I searched manually and used the search bar for about 15 minutes with no luck.

Any help would be appreciated greatly,
Thrash

It's not possible for the Xbox to use only F: becuase E: is where the gamesaves are stored and a Cache folder is on E: . You can use Copy Disc in UnleashX and it will automatically choose F:\Games but I prefer using the File Explorer to copy all of my games because it allows me to choose what to copy.

Hope that helps.

Alright, thanks very much Dr. Fweega! You've been of invaluable help.

To recap, basically if I create a Games folder in F: then it will read that folder and run games from there also? So, in theory, if I created an Emulators folder in my F: drive and moved all the files and such over from my E: drive, would it still read it correctly? Basically, if I moved any folder from E: to F: would it still function correclty? (I kind of doubt it would be feasible to move my Dashboard folder)

You are correct. Although some dashes may need redirecting

How would I go about redirecting it? Would it be in the .ini file?

PS. would I need to redirect it if im using UnleashX?

UnleashX = config.xml
EvoX = evox.ini

You need to edit one of those to tell it where you are storing your Emulators and Apps if they don't show up already. Most dashes you download won't have a Emulator and Homebrew tab, so you would have to add it.
