hey everyone, i set up a file sharing network from my PC, and gladly XBMC is able to recognize it and i can view pictures, movies, and listen to music, from my PC on my XB, its awesome!!! i backed up a game over FTP to my PC and i accessed the folder from the XB, but when i clicked the "default.xbe", nothing happened. i know that it was stated somewhere before on this site that u can't play games over a network, but WHY??? would anyone be so kind as to explain? thanks.

OK the Only Way i can make you understand it is

think Of Each .xbe as it's Own  OS  your Dash may it Be XBMC or UnleashX  just shows a List of the .xbes you can Launch,
Soon after you Launch that .Xbe you go into a New OS

the the FTP would be Broken Soon as you try and Launch the .xbe

Now if Some how you can Make a dash .xbe that just runs the Other .xbe's in the Background of that .xbe then Yes you could load Games from FTP
