After using ZZk's soft mod instructions, and modifying my Xbox to a larger drive (120GB seagate).  I am unable to boot to my dashboard with the network cable in.  It freezes on the green Xbox logo with the white "micorsoft" appearing below later.

But unplugging my network cable and restarting the system it boots to the dashboard.  I am able to plug the network cable back in and get an IP address.   Is this a known issue and does anyone have a fix for this?  Please help.

Thanks! Cool

Hmm, I've never heard of that happening before. I'll look around and see what I find on it.

I fixed the problem.  All I did was unlock the new 120GB hard drive and copy the files back.  Basically I re-modded it agian.  It must have a corrput file.

Thanks
