Could someone please explain to me what is the difference between all these XBMC versions, such as techie,eXBMC and the other ones, and which is in your view is better and why?

He means whats the difference between each build. There are many builds out there because XBMC is so very easy to make. Some of the good ones are T3CH, PIMPED, BLING BLING, and some others.

The main difference between builds is that each one has different scripts and features. Some features are good and bad, and some scripts are good and bad. So it's all just a matter of opinion. I would recommend that you just try each one and see which you like best. Sorry I couldn't be more help to you.
