I modded my friends box and he has picture and video screen saver as well as text and i only have text
?? How can i add the picture and vedio to my settings in system
is there something diffrent i did to his that didnt happen with my smd

First id like to thank BOOST for answreing my questions and taking time out ot assist me.

Im having problems with where to put the skins i got off the net, I dont know what folder to put them in.
also i need to know if i can copy my games to dvd-rw befor i burn to dvd-r .also  ive trien to burn with nero 7 but my xbox says no disk in tray. ive used IsoMaker2.0 / Qwix / C-XBox Tool / XBoxRipper.exe / achol 120% / RecordNow MAX with out any good results....                 ooh and whats the best software to burn xiso with?

ok i tried to use a up to date game but when i turn on my box it says xbox live is updating ur system ,ect  then it says xbox live is not responding try later .i cant access the ms dash ,it stays on this update screen .i have my xbox hooked to my linksys wireless B.Band routher..

I rebuilded the hd and now when i turn it on it says something about going on live to update then it says no response and tell me to try later.im put a new game in and see what happens...and i dont have ono account on live .do i need this or just a newer game. and thank u for all the help. id be burnt pu if not for ur help and i appreciate this and smdepot. this is a good family to be apart of...

I dont get any dash board when i cut my xbox on, it's just a black screen so i cant access either dash doard no matter how i turn the box on .
 i put  Krayzie_MA_Ndure_Installer_v1[1].0 on my xbox and it wont continue the install.. it says batch process failed .the last item was : action :rename.

As befor im new to this but ice done 3 other xboxes befor i had this problem and ive read untill i fell asleep and cant for the life of me fix this problem without help and ive tried to make a rescue disk but i think im doing it wrong and it says the drvie will close by it self but it dont ..

hi im a noob and i have a WD Caviar enhansed ide hd. i've done all that was needed to upgrade my xbox hd. but i cant lock it (MDL: WC400BB-00DEA0) (DATE: 01/Sep 2003) (DCM: HSBHHV2CA)
I made the floppy but still cant lock ..Frozen ...and when u disable auto detect what do u set it to.
Is there any way to find out or compare this hd to see if it works in xbox 1.6
