16  Computer / General Discussion / Re: Web Browser war on: March 18, 2007, 02:57:18 PM
There aint no 1 perfect browser.. however there are some that provide better features..
for example, IE doesnt hog memory
while Firefox rapes it..
I havnt done too much testin on Opera to comment, so i wont bother incase some fans get offended heh

However IE allows spyware/virus and all that jazz in very easily, and your pretty much open to everything..
Firefox seems to do better at blocking and protecting your computer

Firefox is easy, good looking, simple, and its tabbed feature works wonders
IE is messy and to be honest, doesnt look all that good.. (i know IE7 has tabs, but that dont work too well either, i've played around w/ it and its no use)

IE is used more wordwide, therefore like someone said before, if a page is shown differently on Firefox and on IE, then most likey the IE one is the one that is seen most..

Im done for now.. ILL BE back Cheesy w/ some cheese and this little fella to rule the world

17  Xbox / Hardware / Re: Removing the green backing of your Xbox jewel... on: March 18, 2007, 02:50:04 PM
haha skip, nicely done...
however, fine sandpaper aint that easy to get from school, the very fine ones are in storage..
but find the teacher at a VERY busy time, and ask if you can go grab one for your latest project. you'll be fine

well thats how it is here... humm
the jewel... does having it clear give it a cool look? i thought it would look ugly w/ no lights..
18  Computer / General Discussion / Re: Windows on: March 18, 2007, 02:42:32 PM
Hey guys, i was a little kid back then and wasnt thinking
i just read my post of Vista .. and i just smiled
wow.. its amazing how one can quickly change his mind Cheesy

i got a copy of Vista, tried it, and eh..
let me tell you this
All GUI themes/looks
nothing new,
they moved some buttons, added couple of 3d effects, changed colour, added theme, and since they got bored, maybe they added like 1-2 new features?

not worth the money, forget about it..
19  Xbox / Questions / Re: Softmod to beginners on: March 18, 2007, 02:40:04 PM
Hehe, well i best you many parts in the xbox are black..
a little more description would help alot, maybe exacly where it was found, what it looks like
even better, a pic would help Cheesy
either take one yourself, of find one online and circle the thing that looks like your "black" object...
20  Computer / General Discussion / Re: uTorrent was bought up by BitTorrent :( on: March 18, 2007, 02:37:25 PM
Okay i know you have all been waiting for it.. so here it is.. the Master Torob's Opinion about uTorrent

uTorrent "was" one of the best, if not,  "was" THE best torrent program..
for all the little guys out there, utorrent didn't hog no memory at all, "was" simple and easy, + "had" nice configurations allowing high speeds,
i've been all over torrents and you can trust me, I've been through them all..
i was happy with Azureus, but not after i tried utorrent...
in my point of view, it was exactly what everyone wanted it to be...

i would give thousands of detailed reasons of why utorrent "Was" the best client...
but the master has to go eat something good now..

**POOF**
21  Xbox / Questions / Re: Mount .iso on: March 14, 2007, 09:24:35 PM
i think you should mix it up
.iso
i've never mounted, but i believe if you go to xbmc filemanager
it automatically mounts it...
wait ... not .iso as in games
i had a iso movie, that worked,
games im sure wont work,

27  Xbox / Questions / Re: There's a problem with the disk you're using... on: January 06, 2007, 03:20:11 PM
might work, but might not
i dont think its the best idea, cuz having a internal working as external kinda looks ugly and just sounds wrong
28  Ramblings - Misc Talk / Graphics / Re: Contest Prizes! on: January 06, 2007, 01:59:04 AM
oh okay yea, that sounds pretty cool
however its probably custom made, i wouldnt think something would be out there like that, i'll do a little search here and there
29  Ramblings - Misc Talk / Graphics / Re: Contest Prizes! on: January 05, 2007, 04:38:12 PM
How to do what? i looked at that site and its nothing special
just a bunch of people showing their work and a small contest here and there..
30  Xbox / Questions / Re: There's a problem with the disk you're using... on: January 05, 2007, 04:34:51 PM
For movie editing reasons i got the Hp dvd movie writer dc3000

its got s-video and the other component, forgot the name
anyways i burn with that
i also have a cd-writer in my case + a dvd reader
the dvd reader came with the box around 6 years ago, and back then it was the tightest thing you could get, the cd-writer was like even longer
anyways...

the only problem i have with this external is, it heats up insanely high,
on the side it has a usb slot, and when i just touch the usb metal i cant keep my finger on it for 10 seconds or i'll burn
when you put a usb stick or something in there and after 20 seconds you take it out, it gets insanely hot
im not sure if its ment to be like that or there is something screwed up but yea thats only tiny bit concern i have about it.
