Hi guys. My friend has vista on his hp pavilion a1740n. I reformatted it installed xp on it. And now I cant find any xp drivers for it. Can anyone help me out

Its a hp pavilion a1740n

i need audio, video and ethernet drivers

It is because the motherboard used in that system dos not have XP support  (you will need to palce Vista on it)

HP is a *female dog* when it comes to there computers and like's to only support the newest OS at the time and sadly if the user wants to update the OS you may have to update the computer it's self.

(note that you can try Windows 7 and use the Vista drivers)

Nah bro just go with Windows 7 or better Ubuntu lol. But for reals when I fix vistas I tell people to upgrade to Win7 its just simpler when it comes to finding the drivers. And has done or doing better then the disappointment called Vista.

The Win7 version i have is Windows 7 Ultimate AIO Activated 32Bit 64Bit. and it works fine with that version.
