zzk2001:

first ,Thanks for posting the new vid of SoftMii.

I'm curious about the new version of SoftMii.

A couple of months ago you made some good points about the riskiness of the installation.

Is the support for backups the same, as compared to WiiGator?
Have the errors been corrected that you found in the Alpha?

Basically, you didn't recommend  it at first.
Do you still feel the same way about it?
Or would you say it is a bit safer now.

Well At first i did not like it First the reasons of me not really Knowing What and how it worked But After a long time of me getting into it and seeing how it truly worked

With the Preloader Install it's very hard to Brick with softMii as the Preloader can Load from a Power/reset and you can fix the Brick from there if it ever happens

I only did the video to Stop ppl from bugging me from asking for a video of how to install softMii =P

for the Most part  the Newer BackupLauncher 0.3V2 WAD will work Just as good as loading from the Disc channel with SoftMii

As they Still have not fixed the Load speeds  so

real games run at 6x
Backups run at 3x

So you still get lag in videos

BUT over all the SoftMii is not half bad and it is nice to load backup games from the disc channel =P

You can notice the read speed issues when playing mario galaxy.
The video is very choppy.
In the beginning sequence it will actually freeze the game up. There is a game save to bypass this, but the choppy video is enough to keep me from playing it.
Gets annoying.

sounds good man. I'll give that a try. Really, thats the only game I have had issues with, and to be honest, that game bytes anyway.

Thanks for the info though. Always appreciated.

Ok,
just realized that Maxell are the ones that I use.
