Might be getting me a mkIII supra in about a month just depends on if my friend gives me the money. He wants to buy it and make it fast so when he comes back from his next 2 tours in iraq he can be chillin. He's a marine btw. Hes a sgt in the marines and said hey I want a supra find me one and I'll send you the money. I told the guy to hold it for me for like 2 months and he said ok. Lol. Wants 2200 for it. It's a 92.

Means its probably a 7m motor, I would steer away from it unless you put a 1jz or if your friend has enough money a 2jz. 7m's are very notorius for headgasket problems and as soon as it starts to overheat the head warps and for some reason these motors never wanna reseal even after the head has been redecked. Just a heads up.

I know. It's a 1JZ but my friend wants a 2JZ anyway. He called me today and said might not be able to go through with it..... I is sad but ohh well. Would have been cool.

He could always do a na 2j then go turbo. As long as he isn't expecting 500hp and na block will be just fine. I persoanlly know of a couple people that have/are doing the na-t 2j.

I discussed it with him he ships back out next week and he said that it's probably gonna be at least another 6 months so we'll see. I would have gone JDM 2JZ-GTTE so I could swap internals for forged and a different set of cams and runs a GT45 ball bearing turbo. But alas it might be postponed or might never happen. The guy who had the supra already sold it. So definitely gonna have to find another one.
