Title: Re: Going for my dreams Post by: rattmansam on April 14, 2009, 05:29:32 PM SWEET!! it could use a little work but damn thats nice. and yeah throw some cash into it before you're 21 and make sure to syphon the gas out if it hasnt been started in over a year cause the gas gets really nasty and i'd say change the oil first thing lol. sorry just ive been around cars that sat for like 2 years and went to start them up and when we did they started to get screwed up cause of old gas with stuff in it and also nasty oil.

It's going to be a bad F'er when I'm done with it. I plan to save my money from the summer and put some into the engine, some into the general body (you can see the hood needs bent back into shape), and the rest into a smokin' paint job.

I discussed it with him he ships back out next week and he said that it's probably gonna be at least another 6 months so we'll see. I would have gone JDM 2JZ-GTTE so I could swap internals for forged and a different set of cams and runs a GT45 ball bearing turbo. But alas it might be postponed or might never happen. The guy who had the supra already sold it. So definitely gonna have to find another one.
