Would you like to write news for SMDepot.net?

Hello Boys and Girls,


SMDepot.net is looking for anyone interested in writing news articles to be featured both on our home page and our news archive section. There really are no prerequisites, simply having a correct understanding of the english language and spell check. The ideal situation would be to have new news ever day. There are tons of things going on in this scene (console modding) and anything related to this scene is of interest to anyone who visits this site.

If you would like a news writing account and think you can submit between one to two news articles per week Please reply expressing your desire to write news for SMDepot.net.

As always, your efforts are most appreciated and have a huge impact on our visitors and those looking for modding help. Thanks for all you do.

dark-alex Has just Posted He Is leaveing the PSP scene

“I’ve decided to cease OE development, and leave PSP scene. The reasons are various.

1.time it consumes
2.I didn’t like Sony menaces to PS3 hackers
3.I think it is better to leave now rather than end paying the consequences”

But the Quetion Is What about US… do we go back to Loaders like Dev-Hook CAN we go back to Loaders =(

Will someone Pickup where dark-alex leftOff and will he be As Good =/

Softmod Depot Auto-Installer v1.2 Available!

Yep, they did it again! The newest release of Team SMD’s Auto-Installer for the Xbox is available for download again, and it’s only for the Softmod Depot Forum members. To download it you will have to become a member of the forums and look in the downloads section of the forums for the login and password for the files section. Then you can enjoy this fine release.

You can find the Download in the Files section of the site but you have to become a member of the forums first to see what the login/pass is. You just have to become a member and visit the downloads topic in the forums and viola, login and download :)

File Downloads Now Available…..Again

As you all know, the Files section here at Softmod Depot have been disabled due to bandwidth issues. There have been numerous people from places like Korea, Japan, Singapore, and a few others that were downloading the biggest files repeatedly for no apparent reason. If allowed to continue, this would have caused some major issues financially.

Softmod Depot has since rectified the issue and the files have been placed back online. We appreciate your continued patience and support and hope all are able to benefit from this valuable resource we provide.
