hey everyone, ive got a regular PC headset, u know the whole earphone thing with a mic attatched. just wondering if there is any way to hook it up to my XB so that i can use it when i play online. thanks.

yeah ive got the neseccary jacks for the headset on my PC. i usually use he headset when i use MSN messenger.

no, the adaptor that plugs into the xbox controler's memory card slot that the mic plugs into.

no i dont have the xbox adapter. but there is such a thing. so i can just stick it into my mem card slot and plug my headset into it. nice, ill look for it online. is there anyways i can voice chat from my PC. i dont know, im just thinkin out loud. my logic is that i can type chat from my PC, so why cant i voice chat? but thanks for the tip snaf, ill look for that doo-hicky.

you will also need to get a 2.5 mm or w/e size is smaller then normal headphone jacks and wire both headphonce and mic jacks to that, or hardwire the headphones to the puk. either way, it will make them useless for pc, unless you can make a fancey adaptor. or after you get teh puk, you can go to a place that cell wired handsfree sets for phones, and most of those work, im using a body clove handsfree set right now, in amtter of fact.

thanks a lot for the advice. i saw a headset on ebay with and it also comes with the xbox remote, total came out to < $14. ill hopefully get in soon. thanks again.

in order for it to have worked, i needed the adapter that goes into the XB mem. slot. instead of getting just the adapter, i just got the XB headset, so the problem was bypassed altogether. thanks.
