HELP!!! xbox freezes on bootup.

my xbox will sometimes boot to the normal screen and then most other times it will start to load when you turn it on but will freeze within seconds. someone told me maybe a bad dashbord as i get error codes 13 and 21. i was also told to reformat the hard drive and then put the original files back on it. hope someone here can help because it is starting to get annoying. would it help if i try and install version 4 auto installer and evox? thanks again and have a great one..

frist remake HDD with XboxHDm or whatever program you use to a Stock Xbox HDD then use
Krayzie Ndure to softmod
