Backups and DNAS ???

Ok I've got a question.  Can I play a backup of a game online?  Will it pass the DNAS verification?

The reason I ask is the only reason I have a PS2 is for SOCOM.  My son uses the PS2 durring the day and I get it at night, and when he changes games he is not very carfull.  I have had to purchase socom disks a couple of time due to unrepairable scratches...

ok just to recap the question.  Can I use a back up of SOCOM 3 or SOCOM 3 combined assult to play online?  Will it pass the DNAS verification?

I don't have a PS2 or know how to mod one but I will look around for you and see what I come up with.
