hopefully you have your eeprom saved on your PC
if not it's still not a total loss
you unlocked your xbox harddrive with config magic
so.........
you need XBOXHDM and use xbrowser to read the harddrive and find your hdd lock / unlock key
once you have that, run xboxhdm to lock it back
when you get prompted type "lockhd -p ##############################"

I know it sounds hard but really it's just time consuming
and if you are unfamiuar with all this stuff, I suggest talking to a pro in our help room
http://www.smdepot.net/irc/chat.php

they can help you step by step
and by the way
always keep your harddrive locked for now on, your xbox needs it to be locked
if you still can't get it to work or get too frustrated to do it
ship it to SMD or me to have it done with a small labor fee.

good luck

yea, but your in for a lot of work
you need to make a xboxhdm restore disc
once you have the xboxhdm cd made
restart your PC and go into the BIOS and set the hard drive to AUTO and make sure you have your boot option to CD, Floppy, HDD
turn off the PC
plug up your xbox harddrive ( unplug all other harddrives )
restart your PC with the xboxhdm CD in the CD drive
Xboxhdm will boot up, choose option 1 then when prompted, type in XBROWSER
while in this screen, it'll let you see whats in your xbox hard drive
look for E:\backup\eeprom\eeprom\hddkey.txt
write that key down and DOUBLE CHECK IT
if you put in the wrong key when you lock it, you'll have a paperweight
once you have this hdd key
type in REBOOT
when your PC starts back up xboxhdm will load up
choose option 3 this time ( locking tools )
when promted to lock it type in

lockhd -p ############################

DOUBLE CHECK IT...... TRIPLE CHECK IT !

once it's all locked up, type in poweroff
the PC will shut down

take the xbox harddrive and put it in the xbox and plug it all back up
turn it on and it should be all back to normal

good luck
