How Exactly Do I Use A Soft Mod

I was wondering if anyone could give me a walk through to use a soft mod.. wether its via e-mail or foums thanks... oh and in that walkthrough id appreciate it if u would spell out the words and not abreviate everything lol

Yo Im not really new to mods but how do i get my maps onto my computer?

well the old maps off the disc are in E:\Games\Halo2\Maps

the new maps are in a different spot
E:\Tdata\4d530064\$c\........  theres a few folders in this area.
look in those folders for all the new maps

get an FTP program and connect to your Xboxes IP address
transfer the .map to the location it came from
