OK, i don't know jack about PS3, i'll say that to start.
One thing i loved about the Xbox softmod was backing up games to a HDD.
Is this out of the realm of possibilities for the PS3? or do you think it will very likely happen\and how soon?

This would definetly make me get a PS3 backing up games..... that and the linux portion of it

anyway, if anyone has an idea i'd love to hear it, probably from you Ricochet, lol you're the reason this sections here remember, lol

te he he, okay, along with the tiff exploit to play games w/ higher FW there is still a vulnerability yet to be discovered, i believe team Infectus is working something with that, they succesfully dumpd the nand i no that let me do some research for you

edit: there is something going on, because sony has released multiple FW's in the past few months which is quite unusual seeming we havent had any major exploits, so my guess is if you have a lower firmware thats the first to be exploited, there is no point in keeping up with sony in firmwares when we dont even have a custom one to work with
