Well someone somewhere found the ps3 signing code so yeah. Now we just sign the program and no more jailbreaking or whatever. Epic win for the hack community especially since I don't think it's been done before.

No sir. The people who found it said they weren't gonna use it for bad things. Lol someone is gonna reverse engineer the code so no need for dongles just a pc and a thumbdrive I presume. It's new so we'll see. Hell they might just release a fucking signer program that signs it for s lol. |

things are going so fast now it's hard to keep up but... right now they done used the master key to decode 3.50/3.55 games to work on 3.41 Soon a CFW is coming out so that really will not matter anymore LOL But Soon everything is going to be wide OPEN  |

yeah it works for all ps3's on 3.41.. BUT with this code it will work for 3.55 eventually |

So now that we have their keys; whats Sony going to do?
I mean think about it, game dev's won't want to publish games knowing full well that any security they implement on their disc will just get whipped out. And now, we can possibly get on PSN on 3.55 with game on HDD w/o disc because we'll just patch it to get on PSN.
I see Sony losing a lot of money in the PS3 and even more now PSP that we have the keys for both.

well i see it the other way around, with sony getting more money not losing money
With the PS3 wide open more people will buy a ps3 and with more people on PSN more will PAY for PSN things etc etc.
And Dev's will still make games for PS3 as it's the same for all systems right now, they are all hacked LOL

True  , oh well time will only tell.  Now its Sony's turn and its sure going to be interesting to see what they come back with given it can really be nothing with what we have. |

The code works on all ps3 firmware versions past and future. And will forever as long as the ps3 exists.
