Hello everyone. I have an original xbox with a 500gb hard drive. I lend it to my friend and he accidently unlocked the hard drive. I DO NOT have the eeprom file. Is there anyway to lock it back up? If so how? I noticed you took your video down zzk for the hot swap, would  that method still work? If so what do I need to do

thanks

Yeah, unlock is Good..  you can do a hotswap fix  "the good thing is you don't have to Pull the IDE at the right timing as it's unlocked"  Grin

My Xbox videos got pulled from youtube because of background music  Embarrassed

All you need to do is place the xbox HDD in your PC run the Xplorer360 program get your eeprom then make a xboxHDm CD with your eeprom and run option 3 and Lock HDD, place back in xbox.

Yeah the program should pick it up as it's unlocked. If i remember you'll need to place the Xbox HDD on the Primary IDE, I think set the xbox HDD jumpers on CS but if it does not pick up set on master.

To boot into windows you may need to Boot manually by going into boot menu and picking your windows HDD as boot ( most PC's it's F8) "windows it's self will not see the HDD"
