1TB HDD

At the moment I have a 750GB HDD on my original xbox. My friend wants one and its pretty difficult to find a 750GB HDD IDE for cheap (i picked up a couple a year ago for $50)

But seeing that 1tb sata hdds are about $70, and i would have to pick up a sata2ide adapter for it.

Do any of you have a 1tb hdd? installed on your xbox? How well does it work?

Or I was thinking of getting my friend a wdtv live or apple tv (seeing that apple tv supports xbmc)

my friend wants to spend around $150 maybe a bit more. What do you guys suggest? XBMC on xbox now lacks quality. How is the wii media centre? can it play avis? divx? any help would be great

well... not sure on the 1tb thing    but really if your going for just a media center i would look at some other options.

Like a Divx Xvid/Mkv player etc etc

or even get a Ps3 or 360 and just convert the video/movie files to support PS3 or 360 (with PS3 you can even setup a Stream from PC to PS3 and video files are Auto converted As they play)

my friend wants more of a media centre then gaming centre ps3 might not be worth it
