Hi Guys Great to finally get an old retro XBOX back, although it has a x3 xecuter chip in it....
I am trying to source the XBMC INSTALLER DISC that used to float around, can anyone help , I dont care too much which version as it is only for playing XVID and automatically grabbing the covers from the folder name...
Really need a download location for XBMC installer disc....Links on the site are now all dead...
Can you help ?

Yeah i can make it a .iso for you no problem.
i have two versions
1. a full installer CD with (Emus, apps, dashboards,XBMC etc etc)
2. Just the XBMC installer it's self.
the Installer CD v3.0 would take a little time to upload as it's like 800mbs =P but the XBMC installer is just 123mbs

Hmmm.. i may need to change the code a little bit.
do you need to change the main dash on C: ? or can you set bios to load from dash from E:/Dashboard ?

Looking at the settings, I can change the drive of the dashboard, to C,E,F,G , although there are no dashboards installed anywhere (formatted hdd through x3 options)..
On a footnote, am I correct in thinking I could 'prep up' another Hdd for an unmodded machine with this hard modded machine ?
Thanks again

each hdd is locked to their own motherboard so you wont be able to "prep up" an hdd on one xbox and then put it into another one unless you have it locked to the other one with its eeprom

Thats strange - i remember there used to be a method you could mod a unmodded box if you had a modded box... perhaps I'm wrong... anyways back to the subject....

Something like that There was an option to use a modded xbox so that you could ftp the exploit to the modded xbox onto a memory card if you did not own an action replay

I'm guessing you have a hardmod? If so your dashboard belongs in C: and is named evoxdash.xbe what you could do is download xbmc from http://217.118.215.116/ (download the latest one) step 1) download the latest one step 2) extract it step 3) Copy all the content from the xbmc folder 4) rename default.xbe to evoxdash.xbe (since you want it to be your dash) 5) now ftp the content into C: and you should be good to go

No - I need the installer disk... I do have a hardmod as mentioned... I really need the installer CD , as I currently have NO dash, I can only boot directly to the chip and or from a CD... Thanks for the input anyways dude .. Just awaiting ZZK2001 and his technical skills to create me that disk
