PS3 Hacked?...Maybe?

For people who want to talk about the New BIG News posted 


OK so i hear the PS3 has been Hacked, Not like... We have a loader for ISOs or anything like that yet BUT someone HAS gotten pasted the locks and in the system and HAS dumped it, all that's left to be done is making the Software or Custom software like with the PSP.
I man from Ipod hacking has done it "So he says" lets just Hope it's true

I have read/write access to the entire system memory, and HV level access to the processor. In other words, I have hacked the PS3. The rest is just software. And reversing. I have a lot of reversing ahead of me, as I now have dumps of LV0 and LV1. I've also dumped the NAND without removing it or a modchip.


What will come of this?
-PS3 backups running on the PS3 HDD?
-Emulators like N64 running at 100%?
-Linux or Windows running the FULL power of the PS3?
Who knows.... But it's fun to think about it.

Yeah i know, read it on qj.net... I hope its true, but how big are the games if lets say they do wanna back them up on the PS3. I mean im sure their not the full 20GB-50GB because if they are then they'll eat up your hard drive quickly.


And then again i don't want the PS3 to suffer the same faith as the PSP

What a Good Hand held system that's selling well?

the only down fall of the PSP is to many versions (AKA that's what's killing it) And with the PSP3000 WORSE then a 2000 and the PSP Go is just a joke  it's no wounder it's dieing.

Anyways i don't see but a hand full of people hacking there PS3 =) well.... till i make a video HAHAHAHAHA...

And yea not all games are BIG as most all cross platform games are DVD/DL  but there are some PS3 only games that are like 23gigs  But i see this as a good thing as it makes people Pick to buy the game and delete it so you can replace it with a Newer game to Try or Just Buy the newer game LOL.

I don't see any PS3 game sells going down from this But maybe even going up, Plus PS3 sells going WAY up if that's even possible

Yes, very true i really don't see people trying to downloading a 20GB+ Torrent. But, what about going online with them. Don't you think PSN would be able to tell its a pirated disc and we'll see some banns

well full 1080p movie torrents are 10+ gb and thats only a nights worth of downloading if there are good seeders, so im sure ps3 games wont be to bad.

takes me around 48 hours to download an xbox 360 game. Dunno, if anything ill be using some app that rips games. I have a friend at gamestop that lends me games early but just for a day.

OK so we all know the PS3 has been hacked and is being worked on But the exploit was not released.... TILL TODAY!!! lol ok so if you want to try it and maybe make some software to help the PS3 hacking then Download the file
