Cable Modem Hacks

OK this is NOT a TUT on how to hack your Modem But more Of a Place to Talk about cable modem Hacks =P

As some of you May know I have a hacked SB4200 That i hack MANY MANY MANY years ago And Never Used =(  Sadly I never could Understand it all fully to Get what I need.

BUT the Day came About 4 days ago Where I told myself I would NOT give up this Time and I will find out what all i need to have a Better/Higher Speed Cable line

Well sadly the answers was right in front Of me  i was  just to impasiont  as All i had to do was let the Mac scanner Go for a few days and I found A lot of 15mb Lines lol

Scanning for a better one here Soon =P But still WAY better then I had  where i could Only upload at 40kbps LOL

http://www.speedtest.net/result/416339798.png lol its usually 15000kbps down and 10000kbps up but recently its been screwy a lot and throttles down to about 500kbps down and 50kbps up sometimes lol roadrunner sucks especially when you pay 100 a month for it and it dont work.

What i did after placing the CFW on the modem I uses Mac collector  and scan for about 1-2 days and found the Macs I need to get a 15mb Line

Still can't find any higher then that

zzk If you want higher t1 or fiber thats really the only options you have. I can total only get 15690kbps as the fastest down ive ever tested in my town and that was a commercial line i only have business.

no On a cable line they have up to  40mb lines I just have to Scan them and find them I found 1 BUT it was a dead line If i would have Keep the Scan going I am sure i would have found More I am going to Scan again here in a few days this Time I am going to have it scan for 3-4days

same thing for us here, roadrunner/now comcast has 40mb lines here, but at&t has 80mb lines
