I totally agree. But, the Wii I have access to is my sons, and he would hate me if I bricked it.
Not worth the risk.

I'm am usually pretty experimental with other systems, like the psp. I have bought three since christmas.
And the xbox. I have done everything but smash them with a hammer.
Maybe in a couple of weeks I will buy another Wii and experiment with it.

Too bad there has been no significant progress on psp 3000.
