Does it make a noise when you press the button, and try taking off the front cover it may be catching.

Umm i've never had the yellow only red and green. Maybe when its trying to open get a flat tip screw driver and put it under the fron t of the drive and have the cover off and when its trying to open lightly apply pressure upwards on the bottom of the front part of the drive if that try it the other way but be careful and i take no responsibility for damages that happen to your 360 im just making a suggestion you may or may not try it its your choice maybe wait for someone elses opinion but also maybe try pushing on the side of the drive front slightly and try it on each side and move it back and forth when its trying to open i have to do that on my original xbox drive because the drive gears catch all the time.

One of the belts is loose in the drive. Try fixing that, and it should slide just fine. That is, if you haven't ruined the bezel first...

Yea, they do. Mine did the same thing about a month and a half ago. They are a pain too...
