Quick question: What is a simple program where I can basically drag and drop my dvd movies and create a a menu, Without having to convert it again using that program.
I use winavi to convert my dvds (fast, easy and does not take up that much space). I want to add menus, but not sure what program to use.
I tried using ulead but takes to much space, and time.

Any help would be great.

i am not 100% sure what you mean.

.avi files don't have menus =)

But if you mean converting .avi to a DVD format with menus then I use ConvertXtoDVD

well you have to create the title menu before you can do anything
several programs do this, Nero is ok at doing this as well

youll want to check out http://www.videohelp.com/

use there search features to find what you need (guides as well)

i still don't Understand LOL

Menus on a .Avi  I don't think that can be done.

to make menus you need a program to covert it to a DVD format with menus =/

Thus why i said ConvertXtoDVD

(or maybe I am not getting it LOL  Tongue)

Alls I do is load up my AVI into Nero Vision, and it asks me what menu I want (its like choose 1, 2, or 3 kinda thing). It's not like pro, but it works for me. Then after I'm done with that, it take a few encoding it, and it gives me a folder called VIDEO_TS and then I burn it to DVD Smiley

Edit: With Nero Vision, you can pick what style menu you want and everything. I think that's what you asked...

thanks everyone
but as gamerz said
1) i convert the avis into dvd format using winavi
2) after the convertion i would like to add menus to them without the menu program having to rencode the converted videos ( I am not looking for anything fancy just 1,2,3 thing)

LOL, Nero does all that. It adds the menu THEN converts it. It's really a simple program.
