wii error

but i still have problems.
i downloaded Backup_Launcher_0.3g-Channel.wad
put that in the wad folder (which is in the root folder of my sd card)\
loaded the homebrew channel
lauchned custom wm
tried to install it
but i get error (ret =1022)
i tried installing using both custom wm
and wad manager
what am i doing wrong?

you Don't Use the Custom WM to install .Wads 


Load the WAD manager to install it.


the Custom WM is just for fixing the Cios

Thanks zzk, i apprieate all your help, and i hate to be a bother not only to you, but others also. but i tried both earlier and it did not work, both wm, and wad manager. am i putting it in the right folder? ill try again and post up again

make sure you install the IOS36  as well (that may help)

ios36 installs fine, but backup loader still getting errors

realg are you at sys version 3.2? did you downgrade

if you didnt you cant install channels (or at least very easily, im pretty sure you cant at all but could be wrong)
you need to downgrade to put on channels

I have Installed Channels on 3.4 

Now Running them channels i installed On 3.4 Is  close to imposable =)

So yea it's best to Downgrade to 3.2

First make sure you have a Wi-Fi set up on your Wii, and a Wi-Fi that don't drop the connection and that is nice and strong

Then just run IOS Downgrader from the HBC that came with the files i gave u, and choose 3.2U and make sure that the firmware you pick ends with a U for United States as our region, if not u gots a semi-bricked wii yo

JUST HOPE YOU DON'T HAVE A POWER OUTAGE and or DROP THE Wi-Fi WHEN DOWNGRADING OR YOUR F***ED

I took down the Video As some ppl (are dumb)  and having problems with the Installing the .Wad files as they Where like you and was getting errors when trying to install Some .wad files etc etc

I am going to upload the Video to the server so you can download it.

But it's Very easy

1. pick the Reagen  that your Wii is on  (USA,PAL,JAP)

2. copy the 2 wad files to the WAD folder and Run WAD manager

3. Install IOS30 First then Install the SystemMenu  (MUST do it in that Order)

4. DONE your Wii is now on 3.2

after you do the Downgrade you'll need to Reinstall the cIOS installer and Stuff again.

what error and What are you trying to do ?
