 Huh I got a used x-box and it apperently has beed soft moded. its a ver.1-6, no added chip....bear with me I'm not a big gamer and have no modding experince. but it looks like i got...

OK if your not a Gamer then it's best to use the xbox as a media Center.

your XBMC maybe out of date So i would Go and Get a Newer version of it.

Then you just Need to Understand How to FTP to the xbox and How to Setup a file sharing.


the xbox Media center or (AKA) XMBC  can play close to any video/audio format from Xvid.Divx,mp4,mkv,ogm,avi,wmv,Mp3,wav etc etc etc etc

ok, checked in to what you said ... and might I add how impressed I am about the time and programming it takes to make modding possable and easy(er) to do.And then how freely its shared, my hats off to you guys! Cool now .... lets see if i got the idea.... I havent done anything yet but i went and got a few things ...
