Whew guys, its been a while. Used to remember my mod days back here. For the while, I'm kind of back. Anyways my problem.

Well I download SSX: On Tour. My disk was scratched so I need a backup Tongue. First off, I'd figure since my 250gb is long past dead and just a stock modded harddrive, I'd burn the game to a DVD-R to save. Well I burned it in Nero at the slowest speed. When it was done, I popped it in the drive. I put it in, and selected launch DVD from my dash. It changed to the X screen and it said SSX. I though I was all set. It popped right back to my dash. Pissed me off. So I said maybe the drive doesn't like. I hop back on the desktop and extract the .iso. Sent all the files to the xbox via FTP. Once it was completed, I hopped on, went to the games list and selected it. It did the same exact thing as the DVD. So I booted up XBMC just to see what would happen with it. Went back to the dash. Did my dumbass forget somthing? Its been so long.

well i cant be entirely sure, but from what i read

you took the iso from the dvd you burned and dropped back onto the xbox?
idk
anyway if yo uDID do that, whatever problem the disc had the iso would have
side note, use imgburn at the slowest speed to burn games

ok im not quite sure your xbox situation, but you should have enough space to rip the game directly to the harddrive right?
if you do, rip it into iso format on the harddrive and then use imgburn to burn the iso to the disc (after testing the iso works of course)

i mean thats what i would try

If you are having trouble with the image, it is the image. It should at least work on the hard drive via FTP.

Make sure the files for SSX are all there, like my SSX 3 has the files default.cfg, default.xbe, and a data folder.

If it won't run, you have problems with either the dash or the iso. My money is on the image though.

umm maybe craxtion 4 extract iso and then create a new iso with patches??? or maybe extract iso and go in on xbmc into memory and select default.xbe in the folder and see if that works if not bad game iso.
